FAEM X SAF'25
Serendipity Arts Festival 2025 marked the 10th edition of South Asia’s largest interdisciplinary arts festival, held annually in Goa.
As Tech Partner for the last two editions, FAEM, in collaboration with Metro Digital Media, delivered end to end technical production. The team worked closely with artists and the Serendipity team, developed AV system designs, executed on site installations, and managed live operations and dismantling across multiple venues.

APPROACH AND ACTION PLAN
FAEM began with early artist coordination and technical planning, followed by detailed site recce and layout refinement.
Structured production workflows, real time problem solving, and coordinated on site execution ensured smooth installations, stable public operations, timely delivery, and a seamless transition from live programming to dismantling and final project closure.

Phase 1:
Technical Initiation and Remote Planning

Began technical allocations using the existing inventory.

Conducted the initial site recce at Visual Arts venues in Goa to understand spatial and technical constraints.

Finalised technical layouts and implemented changes based on site conditions.

Conducted walk throughs with artist points of contact to understand venue specific requirements.

First production team of 3 members arrived in Goa, marking the start of on ground production.


Technical rigging commenced with the support of the local rigging team.

The remaining technical team, venue managers, and media installation team arrived in Goa, the complete FAEM + Metro team of 18 members were on site.
Inventory disbursement and logistics operations commenced.
Real time technical problem solving enabled fast and timely production across venues.

Commencement of the 8 days long live operations.

Phase 6:
Project Completion

The final day of the festival marked the successful completion of Visual Arts programming.
The dismantling team arrived in Goa.
All AV technology dismantled and returned to inventory.
Inventory cross checked and prepared for transport back to the warehouse.
All accounts and logistics cleared, marking the completion of the five month long project cycle.
CHALLENGES
60 plus artists with complex, tech intensive artworks requiring precise coordination.
Tight installation timelines, with limited venue access before exhibition opening.
Large in house inventory management, including equipment dispatch, tracking, and maintenance.

Quick adaptation to last minute changes and technical constraints which was tackled through technical expetise.

The team responded with agility and rigor, delivering context driven solutions while executing the technical production with precision and grace. This was driven by passion and a deep commitment to the craft. In the end, we did what we always do, producing all that matters.
